ACE Field Trips are stimulating science-based activities designed specifically for each grade level K-5th.
Objectives for the activities directly correlate to the Georgia Performance Standards and National Science Standards.

Groups must arrive by 9:45 in order to unload and refresh before the start of the ACE Field Trip. The minimum number of students required for ACE Field Trips is 20 and the maximum is 90.

ACE Plus

Tuesday-Friday from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 noon ( lunch break) 12:30-2:00pm ............... $6.00 per student

ACE Plus includes the ACE Field Trip and a guided tour. Students begin with the ACE Field Trip followed by a 30-minute lunch break and concluded with a history based guided tour in the Eagle building. It is a full day of learning science and history while having fun. Explore World History through our exhibits and aircraft at The Museum of Aviation Flight Technology Center!

ACE (Aviation Connections through Experiments) Key Objectives and Georgia Performance Standards
for grades 1st - 5th.

GRADE 1: SOUND -  S1P1 Students will investigate light and sound. 

GRADE 2: MOTION -  S2P3 Students will demonstrate changes in speed and direction using pushes and pulls.

GRADE 3: MAGNETIC FORCE -  S3P2 Students investigate magnets and how they affect other magnets and common objects.

GRADE 4: FORCES, MASS AND MOTION -  S4P3 Students will demonstrate the relationship between the application of a force and the resulting change position and motion on an object.

GRADE 5: ELECTRICITY -  S5P3 Students will investigate electricity, magnetism, and their relationship.
